The run of show

Where the booth fits, hour by hour

Every reception runs to its own clock, so treat the times below as an example evening rather than a schedule. What matters is which parts of the night the booth is genuinely working for you.

A crowd of guests piled into the frame together in front of a gold sequin backdrop, arms in the air The first hour is the one people forget to book for The rush, and why an attendant matters When the 360 platform starts to pay for itself Prints in hand, gallery online

An example evening

We aim to arrive at least an hour and a half before your rental time begins, so the booth is standing, lit and tested while the room is still being finished. That window is ours: it does not come out of the hours you are paying for. All we need from your venue is a standard power outlet and a reliable Wi-Fi connection.

Cocktail hour is when guests are standing around with a drink and nothing to do, which is exactly when a booth earns its place. Your custom welcome screen is already on, the props are styled, and the attendant is pulling people in rather than waiting to be asked.

Once plates are cleared, the queue builds fast. Sessions are unlimited, so nobody is being counted, and your attendant keeps it moving: restyling props between groups, and making sure the print lands in the right hand before the next group steps in.

Later in the night is when the platform gets busy, because a slow motion video of a dance floor outfit is the thing people post before they sit back down. Three or four guests fit on it at once, so groups go up together rather than one at a time.

The last few prints come out, guests take their digitals home on their phones, and we pack down. Where the booth includes an online gallery, it is there to download from afterwards, so the photos outlive the night.

Why couples add one

The part of the night nobody else photographs

Your photographer is following you. The booth is following everyone else: the aunt who will not pose for anything formal, the friends who came alone and met at the bar, the table that stays until the lights come up. It is the only camera at your wedding pointed at your guests all night, and the only one that hands them something before they go home.

1.

It gives cocktail hour a center

The stretch between the ceremony and the meal is the one couples forget to plan. A lit booth with an attendant beside it turns standing around into something to do.

2.

Your guests leave with a print

Prints come out on the spot, so the keepsake goes into a pocket that night rather than into a gallery nobody opens. Digitals still reach their phones straight away.

3.

Somebody is running it

An attendant stays with the booth for the whole event, keeping the queue moving and the props tidy, so it is not one more thing your coordinator is managing.
